Key Characteristics of Neurotoxicants

The working group met at UC Davis on September 17-18, 2019. Pamela Lein, UC Davis, and Thomas Hartung, Johns Hopkins, co-chaired the meeting which was hosted by Martyn Smith (UC Berkeley) and Lauren Zeise (OEHHA, CalEPA). The group examined the literature and developed 12 key characteristics (KCs), considering neurotoxicity both during development and in later life. They are refining the KCs in a series of follow-up teleconference calls and preparing a manuscript for publication.
